Clues Given By Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes (SWGOH) For Best Team Characters And Ships
If you look carefully at the initial graphics given by Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes game, in my opinion, you will see BIG clues given on which characters/toons/ships are best for a team that would dominate the game or a big part of the game.
This article took about 2 hours to make.
Please note that I do not get paid to write these articles.

The first image that you will see when loading the game is the above, and it clearly shows you what the toon combinations will make strong teams for both characters and ships. It shows it for both Dark Side and Light Side.
- On the Light Side for characters, it shows (listed from front to back) Commander Luke Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, Rey, Jyn Erso, and Grand Master Yoda.
- On the Dark Side for characters, it shows (listed from front to back) Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Shoretrooper, and General Grievous. I was surprised that it was not Boba Fett and Shoretrooper instead.
- On the Light Side for ships, it shows (listed from top to bottom) Home One, Millennium Falcon (Ep VII), Biggs Darklighter's X-wing, Wedge Antilles' X-Wing (note that the game development personnel wrongly named it as Antilles's which is incorrect Amglish/English), Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter. Hopefully I got them correct because it's hard to tell between Biggs' and Wedge's ships and others.
- On the Dark Side for ships, it shows (listed from top to bottom) Executrix, Slave 1, TIE Advanced x1, First Order TIE Fighter, Imperial TIE Fighter.
Second Image With Clues
(You can click or tap on image to see large pic.)
The second image that you will see within the game when you first start, and later a similar image in the middle of the screen. Iit clearly shows you what toon combinations will make strong teams for both characters and ships. It shows it for both Dark Side and Light Side.
- On the Light Side for characters, it shows (listed from front to back) Commander Luke Skywalker, Rey, Mace Windu, Han Solo, and Jyn Erso.
- On the Dark Side for characters, it shows (listed from front to back) Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, and Director Krennic.
Update
I've got doubts on the 5th Light Side ship shown in the SWGOH graphics is the Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter. In fact, I am not able to locate that ship design anywhere in the game. The closest ship to that design is the Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter. It's possible the developer's image retained an old graphics for the Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter ship. Maybe that is how her ship looked like before.
This is the ship that currently shows on the Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes game graphics, and I've determined that this is possible an unknown ship or prior look for Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter.
The current look for Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter are the following screenshots. When you visually compare the above and below pictures, you can see that the side wings are vastly different, but Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Starfighter is the only ship in the game that has anything close to those type of side wings.
In addition, there is half of a droid sticking out on the left side of the Ahsoka Tano Jedi Starfighter current ship graphics. The prior image from the splash image that shows when the game starts does not have the droid or it's not visible easily.
If someone knows for sure what that 5th ship is showing in the splash image that is displayed by the game when you start it, please let me know in the comments below.
